Course: GIS Applied to the Sustainable Management of Forest Biodiversity
Target Audience: Students, professionals, or anyone interested in the sector.
Total Duration: 20 hours in total.
Methodology: Online (asynchronous). Live sessions via BigBlueButton and Virtual Campus.
General Objective: By the end of the course, students will be able to create professional maps using both free and paid GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro), as well as download and integrate metadata (DEM imagery), with the aim of promoting the sustainable management of forest biodiversity.
