Course Name: GIS Applied to the Sustainable Management of Forest Biodiversity

Methodology: Online (asynchronous). Live sessions via BigBlueButton and Virtual Campus.

General Objective: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to create professional maps using both free and proprietary GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro), as well as download and integrate metadata (DEM imagery), with the ultimate goal of promoting the sustainable management of forest biodiversity.
